If you’ve followed Grab A Wrench for a while, you know we have a soft spot for Land Cruisers. When we spotted this incredible FJ55 Land Cruiser for sale at TLC we immediately got excited. Built from 1968 to 1980, the FJ55 was considered the first real station wagon style of Land Cruiser to hit the market. While many have already met their demise due to rust and neglect, a few gems remain like this beautiful ’79.
Less than 250 FJ55s were imported to the United States during that model year. This particular Cruiser happened to be outfitted with factory power steering and A/C. In 1997 the truck underwent a Stage III restoration. It has been well cared for and driven less than 10k miles since completion. This incredibly rare FJ55 Land Cruiser is available for $75,000.
